Privacy Policy

Wyld has has updated our Privacy Policy to protect your privacy. This details how we handle your personal information. We carry out all handling of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act (PUL) and the EU’s integrity legislation GDPR, replacing PUL from May 25, 2018. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect information from you when you place an order with us. The information collected includes your name, email address, mobile number, address and the message you may write to us in the message box in the checkout. In connection with ordering, we also collect payment information for you as a customer.

Wyld also collects email addresses for those who request newsletters. You must actively specify that you want newsletters in connection with your purchase. The default choice is that you do not wish to receive a newsletter. You can also enter your email address for newsletters directly on Wyld’s website without making a purchase.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Why does Wyld retrieve personal data?

When you shop with us, the personal information we collect is used for these purposes:

  • Order management information
  • To process orders and returns in our webshop
  • Communicate offers, product releases and news in the form of newsletters
  • SMS/email notifications of delivery status
  • To handle any problems with your delivery
  • For correspondence via questions and/or other information

Cookies

Wyld uses cookies according to the Electronic Communications Act, July 25, 2003. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information to help the online store identify and track users. Cookies are available as session cookies and as cookies stored permanently on your computer. Upon your first visit to the web store, your browser will be assigned a session cookie that is unique and cannot be mixed up with browsers of other users. In order to use the online store, you should allow cookies in your browser. This type of cookie is only used to give you a better experience (e.g. to handle the goods in your shopping cart) and does not store any personal information about you. Cookies can be deleted. 

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Wyld protects your data

We have taken appropriate security measures to protect your information so that they it does not disappear, change or become subject to unauthorized access. The personal data that arises in connection with a purchase is saved on high-security servers and behind a firewall. No personal data is stored locally.

How long personal data is stored

Personal data contained in completed purchases are saved for 7 years in accordance with the Accounting Act. After the 7th year all personal data will be deleted. Personal data contained in failed or canceled orders will be deleted within one month of creation. If faster deletion of a failed or canceled order is required, contact us at hello@wyldstudio.com and we will take care of it immediately.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Otherwise, Wyld does NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties that help us drive our site or our company, with the requirement that these parties agree to keep the information confidential. Third parties, for example, are DHL who ships your order and therefore requires your address, email and mobile phone number in order to deliver in a timely, efficient way. It can also be Handelsbanken that receives your Swish payment or bankgiro payment when you choose either of these forms of payment. Paypal takes care of other forms of payment when you choose to pay via Paypal’s service.

We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal activities, suspicious fraud, situations that pose a potential risk to a person’s physical security, breach of our terms of use or other occasions when the law so requires.

Your Rights

You are entitled to request information about your personal data that is processed in relationship to Wyld to the extent that your request is in an electronic format that is widely used. You also are entitled to transfer such data to another personal data controller. 

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Cancel subscription

The email address you provided when signing up for the Wyld newsletter can be deleted at any time. If you no longer want to receive newsletters from us, you’ll find information on how to unsubscribe at the end of each newsletter.
